Visions was the second expansion in the Mirage cycle. Mirage, like all large expansions, introduced a number of new rules to Magic, including flanking and phasing. Mirage starter decks came with rules books that explained these abilities. However, Mirage was not printed in Chinese or Korean, so when Visions was printed in those languages, rules cards were inserted into booster packs to explain these new rules.
